This commit complete the migration to 'tracing' for all logging. Below
is a summary of all relevant commits, including this one:
Log improvements:
- All log (trace) messages are structured which means they contain fields
that can formatted by any subscriber.
- Logging can be disabled entirely by disabling the default `trace` feature.
- Routes and catchers now contain location (file/line) information.
- Two log format kinds: pretty and compact via ROCKET_LOG_FORMAT
- Coloring is not disabled globally. Thus applications can color even if
Rocket is configured not to.
- Rocket is more conservative about 'warn' and 'error' messages, reserving
those log levels for messages useful in production.
- Errors from guards logged by codegen now use the 'Display' implementation of
those errors when one exists.
- Secrets are never logged, even when directly asked for.
New features:
- Many Rocket types know how to trace themselves via a new `Trace` trait.
- `Either` types can now be used in `uri!()` calls.
- A `RequestIdLayer` tags all requests with a unique ID.
Breaking changes to configuration:
- `Config::log_level` is of type `Option<Level>`. `None` disables tracing.
- `log_level` now uses the traditional log level names: "off", "error",
"warn", "info", "debug", "trace", or 0-5. This replace the Rocket-specific
"normal", "debug", "critical".
- A new option, `log_format`, which is either `compact` or `pretty`,
determines how Rocket's tracing subscriber log trace messages.
Breaking changes:
- Hidden `rocket::Either` is now publicly available at `rocket::either::Either`.
- `rocket::Error` no longer panics when dropped.
- `main` generated by `#[launch]` returns an `ExitCode`.
- `FromParam` `Err` now always returns the actual error as opposed to the
string that failed to parse. To recover the original string, use `Either<T,
&str>`, where `T: FromParam`, as a parameter guard.
- Many types that implemented `Display` now instead implement `Trace`.
- `Error::pretty_print()` was removed. Use `Error::trace()` via `Trace` impl.
Internal improvements:
- Made more space in CI machines for tasks.
- Cleaned up testbench code using `inventory`.
Resolves#21.
This commit:
- Remove all traces of 'log'.
- Send all logs unedited via tracing.
- Parses and propagate log_level.
- Implements an initial formatting subscriber.

This is a two-prong effort. First, we warn on launch if a known key is
used. Second, we document using invalid keys where possible.

Adds an `ip_header` configuration parameter that allows modifying the
header Rocket attempts to use to retrieve the "real IP" address of the
client via `Request` methods like `client_ip()`. Additionally allows
disabling the use of any such header.
The new examples directory...
* Contains a `README.md` explaining each example.
* Consolidates examples into more complete chunks.
* Is just better.
Resolves#1447.
This commit completely overhauls Rocket's configuration systems, basing
it on the new Figment library. It includes many breaking changes
pertaining to configuration. They are:
* "Environments" are replaced by "profiles".
* 'ROCKET_PROFILE' takes the place of 'ROCKET_ENV'.
* Profile names are now arbitrary, but 'debug' and 'release' are given
special treatment as default profiles for the debug and release
compilation profiles.
* A 'default' profile now sits along-side the meta 'global' profile.
* The concept of "extras" is no longer present; users can extract any
values they want from the configured 'Figment'.
* The 'Poolable' trait takes an '&Config'.
* The 'secrets' feature is disabled by default.
* It is a hard error if 'secrets' is enabled under the 'release'
profile and no 'secret_key' is configured.
* 'ConfigBuilder' no longer exists: all fields of 'Config' are public
with public constructors for each type.
* 'keep_alive' is disabled with '0', not 'false' or 'off'.
* Inlined error variants into the 'Error' structure.
* 'LoggingLevel' is now 'LogLevel'.
* Limits can now be specified in SI units: "1 MiB".
The summary of other changes are:
* The default config file can be configured with 'ROCKET_CONFIG'.
* HTTP/1 and HTTP/2 keep-alive configuration is restored.
* 'ctrlc' is now a recognized config option.
* 'serde' is now a core dependency.
* TLS misconfiguration errors are improved.
* Several example use '_' as the return type of '#[launch]' fns.
* 'AdHoc::config()' was added for simple config extraction.
* Added more documentation for using 'Limits'.
* Launch information is no longer treated specially.
* The configuration guide was rewritten.

Closes#1404.
Closes#652.
This commit involves several breaking changes:
* `session_key` config param must be a 256-bit base64 encoded string.
* `FromRequest` is implemented for `Cookies`, not `Cookie`.
* Only a single `Cookies` instance can be retrieved at a time.
* `Config::take_session_key` returns a `Vec<u8>`.
* `Into<Header>` is implemented for `&Cookie`, not `Cookie`.
