Albin 82b90c0e08 Remove visual limit for damping in CPUParticles
Issue #56324 notes that you may can't set the damping property of
CPUParticles2D to anything more that 100 in the editor inspector
while you may set it to anything in code, this is considered a bug and
changed in this commit

Remove unexposed ProxyTexture, mark AnimatedTexture as deprecated
According to reduz:

> [AnimatedTexture] should be removed together with ProxyTexture, its just
> not efficient at all in Vulkan and causes invalidation of all descriptor
> sets depending on it
> it was needed mostly for animated tilemaps, but nowadays there is not a lot
> of reason for it

Marking AnimatedTexture as deprecated accordingly, until we reach consensus
for removing it completely.

smix8 d87f124768 Add NavigationLink helper functions for global positions
Adds helper functions to set the links start and end position with global positions or get them as global positions.

Adds global start and end position for the navigation link to the 'link_reached' signal of NavigationAgent. That signal gets emitted when a navigation link waypoint is reached. Requires that 'owner' meta data is enabled on the NavigationAgent.

smix8 fef6ffabe5 Fix TileMap NavigationServer 'Invalid ID' error
Fixes NavigationServer 'Invalid ID' error of the TileMap.
The issue was not caused directly by the TileMap but with the late call to get_world_2d()->get_navigation_map() while everything is shut down abruptly e.g. game window closed or Editor "Reload Saved Scene" function.

M4rYu5 97d355c13d Now, in editor, CapsLock behave like a modifier key: does nothing when pressed alone.
Before, it ended up closing the code completion, and rerendering portions of editor.

Markus Sauermann 34a7fc7447 Fix some ways to create inconsistent Viewport sizes
In the editor, it was possible to set the size of a `SubViewport` even
in cases where a parent `SubViewportContainer` had stretch enabled.

This PR disables editing a `SubViewport.size` while the parent disallows
it and it makes necessary adjustments during `NOTIFICATION_ENTER_TREE`.

Markus Sauermann 5bb66d3cfb Fix scene reload crash caused by mouse cursor update
After a scene reload a mouse cursor updates is performed via a
InputEventMouseMotion, that is exposed to the user.
The state of Input is however not adjusted to this InputEventMouseMotion
which can lead to inconsistencies.
This PR makes sure, that it is not exposed to the user.
It utilizes the method of Viewport::_process_picking for marking
events that are not sent to the user, so that this function doesn't
need to be changed.

Josh Jones 097f8a5fdb Fix missing avoidance updates when using same velocity
When using avoidance, if you set the same velocity for the agent, you won't get an update from the avoidance system.

This changes both the `set_target_position` and `set_velocity` setters to always accept user provided values, even if they are the same. This ensures that repathing and avoidance logic is always run when the user expects.

Markus Sauermann 888add8418 Fix Color Picking
With the 4.x-introduction of Windows the previous method for
color picking was no longer working.

This PR uses the following approach to reintroduce color-picking.
When the Color-Picking-Button is pressed, a quasi-screenshot of the
Window-content is created and displayed in a new Popup-Window.
This new Window allows selecting colors by Mouse-Click.
A Preview of the targeted Color is also displayed.

Markus Sauermann 8748f4dcaa Fix mouse/drag/touch InputEvents having no device id
Some internally created emulated/instantiated events didn't have a
device id. This PR sets for these cases a device id.

Also rename `DEVICE_ID_TOUCH_MOUSE` to the more generic
`DEVICE_ID_EMULATION`.

Maxim Kulkin 5adc7e397e Fix LineEdit not consuming events
The most important issue is LineEdit not consuming
"ui_text_submit" event which makes pressing Enter after
editing escape to other components causing unwanted
interactions.

Also fix handling mouse button interactions not consuming
some events.

Also implement early return in case we know which event
type it is and there is no point in checking other event
types.

PS I'm also suspicious that mouse motion events also need
to be consumed, but haven't explored those cases.

Markus Sauermann 6743ac34d3 Simplify Viewport::_set_size
`Viewport.to_screen_rect` is used only in a single location to compare it
to `Rect2i()`.

When called from `SubViewport`, `to_screen_rect` is always equal to `Rect2i()`.
When called from `Window`, `to_screen_rect` is always different from `Rect2i()`.

So the comparison `to_screen_rect != Rect2i()` can be replaced by
`Object::cast_to<Window>(this)`.

This allows the removal of `Viewport.to_screen_rect` and the simplification of
`Viewport::_set_size`.

external GDNative plugins to GDExtension.

Adds a VideoStreamLoader as a specialization of ResourceFormatLoader
as ClassDB::is_parent_class is inaccessible from GDExtension currently.

Using Object* instead of Ref<T> in order to avoid the refcount bug
(godotengine/godot-cpp#652)
Also another bug is in ResourceLoader in use on the extension side that
requires fixing.

Fabio Alessandrelli adba870534 [NET] Refactor TLS configuration.
Use a TLSOptions configuration object which is created via static
functions.

- "TLSOptions.client": uses the standard CA and common name verification.
- "TLSOptions.client_unsafe": uses optional CA verification (i.e. if specified)
- "TLSOptions.server": is the standard server configuration (chain + key)

This will allow us to expand the TLS configuration options to include
e.g. mutual authentication without bloating the classes that uses
StreamPeerTLS and PacketPeerDTLS as underlying peers.

Enable compressed mip maps from Basis Universal for faster compressions.

Increase the quality of Basis to avoid corruption.

To keep compatibility use the first mip of the previous internal Godot format.

Because texture names may have invalid filename characters, adds String::validate_filename to sanitize filenames for import pipeline use.

Markus Sauermann c4ed247f5f Fix position of Tooltips
CanvasItem::get_screen_transform returns a transform from the CanvasItem
to the coordinate system, where a Popup - created as a child of the
CanvasItem - should be opened.
get_screen_transform makes some simplifications, that work well, when used
in the editor, but not in general cases.

Since Popups like Tooltips are now used more commonly in projects,
it becomes necessary to correct these simplifications.

This solution introduces Viewport::get_popup_base_transform, which makes
the necessary calculations.

Cleanup and unify keyboard input.
- Unify keycode values (secondary label printed on a key), remove unused hardcoded Latin-1 codes.
- Unify IME behaviour, add inline composition string display on Windows and X11.
- Add key_label (localized label printed on a key) value to the key events, and allow mapping actions to the unshifted Unicode events.
- Add support for physical keyboard (Bluetooth or Sidecar) handling on iOS.
- Add support for media key handling on macOS.

Juan Linietsky f18d408c08 Add AudioStreamPolyphonic to make it easier to play polyphonic sound from code
* This new audio stream allows to play multiple sounds and control them over time from code.
* It greatly simplifies tasks such as generative music (music generated from code) or audio.

This new type of stream was added with the goal of fixing audio blending in AnimationPlayer and AnimationTree, but can be used by others for their regular audio needs.

Does not fix anything currently, but should help implement #69758 properly.

Some demo code of how to use this:

var playback = player.get_stream_playback() as AudioStreamPlaybackPolyphonic

**WARNING**: This required breaking backwards binary compatibility (.res and .scn files). Files saved after this PR is merged will no longer open in any earlier versions of Godot.

Juan Linietsky 7dbc458bb4 Clean up shader parameter remap
This PR is a follow up to #64092, which fixed important issues but it was implemented in an overly complex and inefficient way (because it forced the default code path to always go through string operations).
This cleans up all the shader parameter code.

This fixes #54336. Also fixes #56219 because, as the new code never queries the RenderingServer on load, potential deadlocks are avoided.

**NOTE**: materials saved between #62972 and #64092 will no longer work and will need to be resaved in an earlier version.

Yuri Sizov 752402cf35 Clean-up, harmonize, and improve StyleBox API
- Make all margin properties follow the same naming convention (their getter and setter too).
- Remove a virtual counterpart of `get_style_margin` from API.
- Allow to override `get_minimum_size` from scripting and remove `get_center_size`.
